A Week of Empty…. Aug 11, 2008
5 days ago, we had a lot of preparations and activities conducted for the employees. It was a fun week for everybody because they all had the chance to participate with the performance based contest. We were also planning to move to another location in the building and is in 1st phase “the soon to be true” working environment for our team. In all aspects we were too busy at work. But in spite the fact that we were too busy and diverted to things we need to accomplish with my team,…. I felt lonely longing to be with my very own family…. I missed my home, missed my wife Jesa, and missed all about me working full time in the ministry…. It’s been a while in which I pursue on my career and I felt tired chasing for my own dreams. Sometimes back draft happens and what are more challenging were things that we aspire to have in the society rather than nothing. It’s a bit much for a man always to look for self gain, in which sometimes we forget others along the way. I realized that we might or can be happy doing something, but we can’t hide the fact all about ourselves who we really are and what we should’ve done. I found a small spot in my career I need to move on with…. Is the hope I have for others In God and knowing that I have my very own home that believes in me…. In me that has His Name…. I always pray that if time would contribute boredom and a burnout life, may it be a mountain to climb and a challenge to face.

This is truly an inspiring reflection and made me think more of what I miss everyday as I go through the usual hectic process at work.

Our family is our 1st ministry and we should not sacrifice it for any other ministry. We love God and we serve Him in whatever ministry He will take us but always remember that the family should always take our top priority in terms of time and fulfilling our obligations. Thanks for the post. God bless.
