DODGE THIS! july 26, 2008

Care for a deep breath? Would it be a slouch for nothing? Intimidating “work life” seems harsh but challenging…. Is it? I don’t know if I could classify myself workaholic nowadays for I only have 3 hours of sleep and work time for me is war time in a sense I got it for 17 hours plus 4 hours travel time and preparations for self grooming. It is very hard to deal with this kind of schedule isn’t it? To the fact that most of the time it gets a bit tough on some certain issues as well as personal things add up. Rest assured… “Coping” is the best word I could describe myself as of the moment as personal needs arises. What about health? This is a fact that all of us need this 100%. No body could control this one if we don’t know how to handle ourselves. Fatigue comes in if “health” is neglected. One could say, “I could work hard enough even if it deals with so much time from me, anyway, I could rely on God’s guidance and comfort”. But rest assured, this will conflict the word called “wisdom” God gave us and as well, He might remind us that taking care of ourselves is our responsibility too, right?

My love always told me to take care of myself for she’s far away from me in which I realized that caring for oneself is the best thing to preserve health and obedience as well. She always reminds me of this need to have life at its best thats why am always thankful and appreciated things about health. Right now assuming I have a lot of work to do, would it be possible for me to withstand the pressures and endure it or just stay low and relax by ignoring some of the things unnecessary to work on to but with the knowledge that it is needed to be done within the day? Well, the good thing is I could still manage to withstand anything. As for Today, I need to beat the deadline for all my reports and as well as cope with the current floor situation realizing that I’m not a superhero that could save the day all the time hahaha!

For this, is it reasonable for us to go beyond our own efforts just to meet somebody’s expectation when it comes to work or is it much more reasonable to work on things as easy as it goes?….

dude, you’re meeting their expectation. what you need to do is to balance your time. when it’s work time it’s work. after working, you need to concentrate with your time. it’s a matter of work is work and personal is personal.

you’re doing good at work, it’s just that don’t exceed on what you have paid for. do it the right way and try to avoid making mistakes. we all know that we’re not perfect but making yourself as perfect as it is will meet the expectations that your higher officials wants to see.

the question here is, have you seen me and rodney exceeding our limits?

You have some really great points here. It is very important to balance taking care of yourself with work. Of course your health is most important!

I agree with Heidi that you really do need to take care of yourself first so you can be the best you can be. Good post and nice blog! :-)
