The night is dark just as before the dawn..
As I have watched this film, I noticed the darkest side of Batman that was fully revealed in this superhero script. It came to the point that every twists made is shocking and somewhat gives you the chill as the climax happens. The former Heath Ledger who portrayed the role of Joker is stunning and never will you expect Heath having this kind of role.
The story flows with a massive organized crime (mob) syndicate that was upheld by Harvey Dent (Two Face) the district attorney who pursued mob activity within Gotham City. Joker enters the scene as the Mob saviour with his lunatic schemes, solely wanted Dent and Batman’s Identity before chaos. He was aiming to have Dent as the white knight of the daylight heroes to turn him out to be a victim and have his darker side overwhelm his own personality as the Two Face. Batman (Christian Bale) took the fact of realization that the true face of a hero had risen through Dent, In which he needs to prevent from falling in the wrong hands. As Joker played his tricks and psychological tests for everyone in this film, Rachel Dawes the girlfriend of Dent and former girl of Bruce Wayne, died as pawn instead of Dent. Harvey Dent lost half of his face due to an explosion. Because of this incident Two Face emerged with revenge and died with his own rage for justice. Batman took the fall in place of Harvey Dent to preserve the hopes of the people in Dent’s purpose. The Dark Knight took the responsiblity of everything that made him the wanted vigilante in the latter part. A “dramatic finish”, just as because Batman left with a handful of loyal people with him specially Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman), inspite the fact that he was suppose to be the hero that saved the whole Gotham in the hands of an insane psycho called The Joker.
All of us needs a hero but the movie had pointed out that heroes can be made with a true face and anybody/ everybody is deemed responsible in any way for being a hero, ready to believe in good. That makes this film Ideal for all of the viewers. I recommend this with a parental guidance to minors because I believe this is not for kids. There’s a whole lot more to understand in this film as the third part approaches. This made a spectacular all time favourite breakthrough in the superhero filming for DC Comics. I am completely a fan of the Spidey but this made me to appreciate who Batman really is in this fictitious movie. I can’t wait for the third one to be released somewhere between 2009 and 2010 as Gary Oldman’s interview stated hints for The Riddler’s come back on films which is formerly portrayed by Jim Carrey in Batman Forever. Heads up guys! Other than appreciating The Dark Knight movie, always take it as a movie nothing more.. nothing less.. because it may lead to atheistical point of view just believing on oneself. Guys just do watching movies for liesure. For this movie, I give it a rating 4 stars out of 5. Enjoy!
